Congratulations to the participants of the 2016 Science Olympiad team. The following is a list of the student participants: Kyle Adams and Joe Higgins (Crime Busters), Amanda Warren (Meteorology), James Myers and Benton Berrey (Bottle Rocket), Jarel Thomas and Anna Claire Berrey (Elastic Launch Glider), Corwin Nance and Claire Harden (Fossils), Emily Willford and Sherlenthia Brazzley (Disease Detectives), and Ethan Taylor (Green Generation). As a result of your commitment, dedication and team work we were able to win nine medals. Hopefully, you were challenged as well as inspired to participate again next year.

Many leaders worked behind the scenes, and their hard work also contributed to the success of this dynamic team. These leaders were: Dr. Sig Harden (Coach), Mrs. Lisa Harden (Public Relations), Ms. Deborah Bruce (Assistant Sponsor), and Ms. Andrea Fyffe (Sponsor). Their knowledge, expertise, creativity, and administrative skills were greatly appreciated.

Parents, thank you for the integral role you played this year in support of the Science Olympiad team. We appreciate the resources, encouragement, and transportation you provided. We hope that you will continue to provide support to our future scientists. Once again congratulations!
